A GREAT GOSPEL FOR A
GREAT CITY

City to City Brazil was officially launched in May 2019 with “A Great Gospel for a Great City” Conference in Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro.

In 2018, the United Nations pointed to an estimate that by 2050, 68% of the world population will be concentrated in urban areas. Currently, this percentage is 55%.

Brazil is a continental and incredibly urbanized country. According to the IBGE, more than half of the Brazilian population is concentrated in 5% of the cities. Our largest centers are among the most populous in the world.

On the other hand, the urban population has become increasingly secularized, seeking multiples ways to understand the meaning of life. This scenario is, in fact, an opportunity for the Gospel Movement in Brazil.

In May 2019, “A Great Gospel for a Big City” Conference, gathered global and national leaders to share experiences for Brazilian ministry leaders. Such as urban church planting and revitalization, leadership development, and content creation to help spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the cities. In Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, participants reflected on how churches in all regions of the country can have fellowship and collaboration, with unity and motivation to empower pastors, planters, and local leaders to communicate the Gospel effectively.
